As in many other occasions, the answer goes through the incorporation of a PPA repository. However, there are other solutions to remedy this and obtain the latest version of Mozilla Firefox for our Ubuntu without having to wait for the Ubuntu update. In this period the browser update is slow compared to other operating systems. But this circumstance is incompatible with Ubuntu since the release of the popular distribution is every six months. In recent months, with the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, the browser has introduced some serious security bugs as well as it has incorporated interesting novelties like Pocket or as the inclusion of particular plugins such as drm or Mozilla Hello support.
In recent months the Mozilla team has not been very cohesive, something that seems to have touched the famous browser.
